Baby’s First Year

Developmental milestones

Babies grow and change at an amazing pace. Every month brings new and exciting developments. New parents often wonder what to expect and how to know if their baby’s development is on target. Remember that babies all develop at their own pace and reach various milestones at different times. There is a fairly wide range for when it’s normal for a baby to reach a particular developmental milestone. With that in mind, it’s still important to learn about developmental milestones.

This link provides a guide on what and how much to feed your baby in the first year. The amounts are meant as rough guidelines only, so don’t worry if your baby eats a little more or less than indicated. You should discuss your feeding plan with your baby’s pediatrician/provider before getting started.
